About OPDV
OPDV Around the State
This map shows the counties in which OPDV staff have conducted trainings/presentations
from January through December 2009. These include domestic violence
trainings/presentations for: Child Protective Services (CPS)/child welfare,
law enforcement, health care, mental health and substance abuse, and local
departments of social services*. Click on the title of the training
for more information about the trainings. Please note that people from
counties other than the one in which the training is hosted often attend
OPDV trainings. The map shows only where the trainings/presentations
took place, not the counties the attendees were from.
The counties that are shaded orange, which indicates trainings took place
in those counties, are: Albany, Allegany, Bronx, Broome, Cayuga, Chautauqua,
Chemung, Clinton, Cortland, Delaware, Dutchess, Erie, Essex, Franklin,
Fulton, Genesee, Greene, Kings, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Montgomery,
Nassau, New York, Niagara, Oneida, Onondaga, Orange, Otsego, Queens,
Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schuyler, Seneca, Suffolk,
Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Washington, Westchester, and Wyoming.

*As part of the required implementation of Executive Order 19, OPDV provides
training for designated state employees. While most of the training
is held in Albany, it is open to state employees from around the state.
Several agency specific trainings have occurred in other parts of the state.
